OT: Is there an idiot proof recipe to activate starters?.....

I probably should have asked this in the starter forum, but I feel more comfortable here.......

I just received the Ischia and Camaldoli cultures from Ed Wood, and I know they come with instructions, but does anyone have any
"bottom line, easy directions" to activate them successfully for a true beginner?

I don’t know if you are interested when I activated my starters, but I have a thread on it at http://www.pizzamaking.com/forum/index.php/topic,11578.0.html  Other members helped me on that thread.  I should have activated one starter at a time though to reduce the chances of contamination, but I was lucky.

I didn’t have any problems activating my starters and I did have them for a long while before I activated them.
