The secret lives of rocks
« on: December 23, 2012, 02:19:51 PM »
I had to set the saw up today to make some brick cuts, so I decided to cut up some yard rocks since it took longer to get the cutting station up than it did to make the cuts I needed. You can't judge a rock by it's outer surface for sure.

Rocks are cool...
I remember back in the 60's having my little "junior gemologist" kit. Had a nice fold out wood case that displayed my treasures... :)
I was big into quartz crystals back then.   8)
Now a days my girlfriend is big into Diamonds.... >:(
