My name is Leslie (in the north) and Lezlie (here in the south).
We became vegetarians almost 30 years ago and vegan close to 25 years ago. I spent the many years not eating pizza because nothing tasted as good as the "real thing." My family liked our version, even with homemade cheeze sauces and I sort of got used to those. Within the last few years some excellent vegan cheeses are available in regular grocery stores and once again I am enjoying pizza. Now I would like to learn to make an excellent, thin base & puffy edge pizza crust. In my early 20's I worked at a pizza house run by a family of Greeks. They made incredible pizza crust using french bread dough. My search is on. I hope to learn from some experienced chefs out there!
