I was always of the opinion that even a bad pizza is a good pizza until I had a baby. Then I started consuming a lot of frozen pizza as a matter of convenience yuck! One day, after things calmed down, I noticed they sold pizza dough at Trader Joe's so I bought the dough and started experimenting with toppings needless to say a much better product than frozen and not a huge amount of work. I have purchased pizza dough at local pizza places, Italian markets and supermarkets with a great deal of success. I received a Lodge Cast Iron Pizza Pan for Christmas and I am looking forward to making my own dough and making the most out of the pan.
