I would like to finally say hi to all of you. I've been following this site on and off for the better part of I think 3 or 4 years now. I can't remember how I found you all but I think it was from Bill's old blog (Great food porn that was!). Back in 2009 I quit smoking and fully embraced replacing nicotine with food. I've always loved to cook so I ended up purchasing some things I've always wanted; a pasta machine, a pizza stone, and a whole mess of new cookbooks. I started with grilled pizza that summer, and then due to the fact the ancient stove in my apartment had no problem hitting temps >760 f, I tried my hand at Neapolitan pies. I was not completely unsuccessful with those but the temp in my kitchen was far too much to handle for a 1 minute pie. Long story short I ended up on the New York style side of the house and I've never looked back. I usually alternate between one of the 14" Lehman style formulas and Glutenboy's. Dirty little secret is that I lost my written formula for Glutenboy's and had to register here to search for it! Thanks for all the knowledge you guys have provided me over the years and I look forward to being a more active part of the community.
