Thought I would try my hand at terrorizing the skies so I bought one of these offers today.

Wondering if anyone else here has taken a similar trip?

I did that when I was 12. Now I am a pilot for a major airline!

I did it once. It was cool to be in control of a plane. I ended up taking some flight lessons and found out that I'm not a pilot. But I had fun figuring that out

I got my private pilot's license about 20 years ago and had 200 or so hours, but other than the excursion in the video, I have not flown a plane in about 15 years.

That's awesome Steve...very cool.

I have been interested in the sport pilots license for ultralights for about a year now and this deal came along so we'll see what happens.

My wife and I did this a few years ago. Great experience as we both always want to get our pilots license. Time & Money dictates otherwise, but this was a real treat for us.

For now... I've settled on Remote Control airplanes. Definitely on the bucket list to get my real license though.

Got my private license about 15 years ago through the flying club at my university (~250 hours total). 3 or 4 years ago I got my commercial helicopter license as part of an aborted career change (the bum economy got in the way). The last hour in my logbook is the commercial checkride for the helicopter license

Gots bills to pay now, and once some of them have cleared up, I'll try again. Probably fixed wing, since the helicopters are much more expensive to fly....

Photographer costs extra at the DZ ... too bad I was going cheap ... the photo would of seen me falling with the carpet out of plane stuck in my backside
