Hi Folks,
I am trying to figure out the correct stand height for a wood fired oven. I have looked at lots of pictures, and it seems that people are placing the firebrick floor of the oven at about 13 courses of bricks high. Is that about right for a 5' 10" person?

Dan, I'm 5' 11". My hearth height is 48" (Mario Acunto Classico 5). It's perfect. I wouldn't change it.

I'm 5'11" and mine is at 44", it is too low.

Sorry, I forgot the question.....

Hearth is 51 inches. A bit too high for my 11 + 13 year old...... and my wife

But I like it.

I am 6' even, my oven is at 51" and I love it. Most of my customer chose between 46" and 48"regardless of their height.
