I believe you need to try this dough before critiquing it.  And as for the cheese, it doesn't have to be sliced.  Furthermore, you're from New Hampshire and you're telling a Chicagoan how to make a deep dish?

Hey rothiii.  first of all, the pizza looks delicious, and I'm sure it tastes great!  that said, its not an especially authentic deep dish pie (for reasons already mentioned)...  widespreadpizza wasn't trying to insult you or hurt your feelings, but was just trying to help.  You should be thankful that he is being honest and taking time to give advice!   :chef:  if you do some reading on these forums, you'll see that this is what this place is all about.   :chef:

Rothiii,  I do not want to get into it here,  but I can say that I have made about every style of pizza there is. If you want to see my work,  search out my threads. Deep dish is not easy,  but its not that hard.  If you want some reading and some improvements,  look no further than this thread.  http://www.pizzamaking.com/forum/index.php/topic,6480.0.html

Many threads on this forum condense years of trial and error to near perfection in days not years.  Again,  I meant no disrespect and only wanted to point out that you could improve.  Not many people come here saying look what I can do.  They come here to learn.  I apologize if you are not looking to improve.  -Marc

Rothiii,  no problem at all.  If you do decide to change some things up,  just be sure to post about your tweaks in this thread.  You may decide to rename the thread,  my best deep dish crust yet...  -Marc

LOL!  Thanks, bro!  Sorry.  We Italians just don't like criticism!  No hard feelings.

Cheers, my brother!
