Very nice looking town you live in. I went to Google Maps and did a roadside tour of your town, including the Grand Ocean hotel it looks like was recently built or added on to. Spent a bit of time in Dover, London and Cambridge back in the 70's when stationed in Germany. I'm in Hastings MN and see you also have a Hastings a few miles from you. I do miss those steak and kidney pies I had while there, very good. And REALLY miss the bread ANYPLACE in Europe!! Welcome to the forum!

Thanks Jon. The Grand Ocean was an old Butlins holiday Hotel up until anout ten years ago then it was sold and is now luxury flats.
Did you go to a road called Lustrells Vale?  That's where my pizza joint is.

Haha. I just made that bread before I started work last night. I am opening up my pizza joint in the mornings as of next week to sell my own breads and pastries.  Gonna be busy....

I am opening up my pizza joint in the mornings as of next week to sell my own breads and pastries. 

I was just wondering about that.... Literally! Like whether or not a pizza oven (whether it be a WFO, deck, Gas, whatever) would have the right characteristics so that it could be used during daytime hours for bread baking only. I imagine that it would all depend on types of bread, scale of the operation, and how interested the owner was in making bread in addition to running a pizza restaurant. I was thinking that maybe there could be some sort of partnership where a dedicated baker could come in and do the breads once the restaurant closed.

I will be very interested to see what you do with your breads!

Is that a baguette in the shot you posted earlier? I just assumed it was from the "boys up the street" (bakery video) it looked so good!

I do have a 'dedicated' morning baker......me! Lol
I am going to do the mornings then go home and rest then come back and make the pizzas in the evenings along with all the prep too as I am the only person that works in my kitchen.

Yeah that was a baguette that I posted,  I just filled it with beef and homemade aaoli.  Stunk of garlic all night but was well worth it! :-)

I'm pretty convinced I could live in their garbage can on what they throw away. I've watched and shown this video several times now and get hungry every time!!!
