Interesting that this was posted recently... we had a massive mouse issue in our basement, and 7 mice killed later, we found the hole between the foundation and buildout that they were coming in from and have no problems there since. (Walk out basement).
Unfortunately, last week a mouse got into my wife's car (Prius) somehow and had a field day tearing up tissue paper and pooping on the dashboard and seats. This is a garaged car, mind you. I left out poison, and it was eaten, and then we left for the long weekend with a peanut butter Victor trap, but no takers...
Now I don't know if the mouse is dead in the car, in the garage, or hopefully went somewhere else to die.
While it's a humane thing to take the mice somewhere else, they definitely are able to find their way back, much like any animals... you'll have to make a choice - do you kill them, find their entry source and close it, or hang out with some new friends?
@TXCraig - Pineapples???!! I had no idea you could grow them in Texas! Good luck fending off the mice! Perhaps it's time to get a cat?
