Over the hill and far away

So, I turned 40 last week.  I sure don't feel 40.  Had a nice dinner with the wife and a bunch of friends.

There was a birthday card about a squirrel juggling his nuts in the street, and I received volumes 1 and 2 of the Loony Tunes Platinum Collection... I watched a lot of Bugs Bunny this weekend!  

My wife got her acceptance to Portland State University, so we'll be move thataway this June (maybe as early as May if that's when an apartment opens up).

I've lived in Portland since 2004 and love it. June will give you a chance to adjust to the Pacific Northwest from AZ... Summer here is the best weather in the country IMO. (Although technically, our summer hits around 4th of july and lasts until the end of September). Grey and misty the rest of the year, but never too cold.

I grew up in Salem and went to college in Corvallis, so I'm familiar with the lovely Oregon summers.... I'm sure once winter rolls around, I'll be missing Tempe quite a bit, but there will be a lot of green around me to make up for it
