Can you make pizza using alfredo sauce, or something other than a tomato based sauce?

A deep dish chicken alfredo pizza sounds like it will be good with buzz's dough recipe.

 You can make pizza anyway you like. I have had a white chiken pizza, Alfredo/white sauce,chicken and mozzarella. A barbeque chiken pizza is also good, BBQ sauce,chicken,mozzarella & red onion.There are absolutely no limits when it comes to making pizza, just go for it.     Chiguy

Hello,
One of our best selling pizzas is a chicken alfredo pizza. Its just alfredo sauce topped with cheese and then chunks of chicken. Sprinkle a bit of parm on after its done.
I would not try to make a deep dish with alfredo. The sauce will be much to runny. Deep dish is usually made with a thicker sauce so that it does not run all over when cut.
