Soapstone characteristics
« on: April 09, 2013, 10:43:27 PM »
Just received my Garden State Soapstone today. According to the prep instructions, I heated in an oven @ 350F for 2 hrs. Stone temp after 2 hrs was 370F. I oiled the stone prior to the bake and the stone is now close to black in color. Exactly what I want for the top stone of my 2 Stone pizza oven.
Further reports to come........
