Stone Cracked -- Big Issue?
« on: April 15, 2013, 11:31:03 AM »
So one of the stones cracked on my brand new NEMCO 6205-240.  How big an issue is this?  Worth the $75 to replace it already?

Wes

Wes,  I had one of the Bakers Pride ovens with a cracked stone,  I bought it used and didn't see the crack till I got it home.  The crack went from front to back, and the stone was in two separate pieces, but they fit very well together -  worked just fine.  If you are missing a bunch of stone it would be an issue, but the biggest amount that I was missing in one spot was the thickness of a pencil  ( not the point the whole pencil )  never caused any problem for me.

Thanks Barry. I'll run with it and see how it works.
