ConAgra High GLuten Flour??? How does it compare???
« on: May 13, 2013, 12:15:00 PM »
I noticed that ConAgra makes a High Gluten Flour. I was wondering if anyone has ever used it, or is currently using it? Can you give me any feedback on this flour compared to other high gluten flours? I usually use Pendleton Power flour, but the ConAgra costs less. Your feedback appreciated. Thank you.

Tom,

If you look at page 5 of the ConAgra pdf document at http://buyersguide.foodproductdesign.com/media/54/library/FPDconagramills3.pdf, you will not see Full Power as a listed brand. This is a point that has been raised a few times before, but I believe that the Full Power flour is either a rebranded ConAgra flour or it is a flour that is milled for sale in Costco stores or in other accounts. If I were you, I would want to know the specified protein content for the Full Power flour.
