Newbie to WFO.....
« on: May 03, 2013, 10:05:48 AM »
Hi,

I have a question regarding WFO.  I am looking for a pre-assembled brick oven with a stand.  I have narrowed it down to two companies. (Forno Classico & Forno Bravo)  One oven is made from refactory bricks, the other is refractory cast cement (i guess).  Does anyone know the pro's and cons of each type of dome?
Apprecciate any insight anyone can provide.  Trying to decide on my first oven...

Thanks,
Pete

Hi
I was going through the same process about a month ago. I ultimately ordered the forno piccolo because of the hand made brick instead of cast. Is it better? I cant answer mine is being shipped as of yesterday. Giuseppe was very nice and answered every phone call and email immediately. This is my first forray into wood fired oven and I hope it will be an easy learning curve. I look forward to the challange!! Forno Bravo site has a lot of great info etc.. and is a great company too! Good Luck

Chris
