Pizzas - sauted onion and mushroom - awesome !

Hi guys,

Had a buddy come over on Saturday night, and we made some vegetarian pizzas ( he's not a meat eater )

I sauted up some regular onion with some mushrooms, ... using 1/2 extra virgin olive oil and 1/2 canola oil.

I just did them enough where they were done but not crisp

Well all I can say is wow..... the pizzas were really good.

I made one regular one on the pizza paddle ( and directly on the pizza stone ) and the other
was a deep dish.

Yummy !

Did you use the new recipe and the wonderful new techniques that you used for your last pizzas that were the subject of the "real-time" tutorial?

Mushrooms and Onions is really a good combo, with mozzarella cheese.
It looks good. What beverage in those pitchers?

I can't remember the recipe exactly now, as I was rushed when I found out my buddy from the homebrew group was
coming over, so I winged it... but I tried not to cheat much, like using a rolling pin.  I even tried to do a little pizza
toss, which didn't work out so well... but I'm getting better at making the dough thinner.

Hi Perk,

The dark one is a strong Porter ( 7% approx )
The lighter one is a nicely hopped beer, it's my "Winter Honey Wheat "
it's made with 1/2 malted wheat and 1/2 barley, it's one of my favs.  It's 6% ABV.

( both of the those beers are made with 100% grain ) ( I'm an "allgrainer )
