Help, need Chicago Style Sauce Recipe

Looking for proper topping for Chicago pizza (aka diced tomato sauce.)
Have had great ones at local Davanni's resturaunt and at a place called BJ's in Maui. Both are exceptional however I cannot recreate them. They are spiced in such a way that escapes me.
Someone please help, I am willing to try anything.

Try 6-in-1 crushed tomatoes, spooned directly from the can. Add a little fresh basil, a dash of oregano, and some fresh garlic.

Thanks Steve for the help with 6 in one. I had seen it being posted online but have not seen it in stores before so I had wondered what it was. I will be calling my local stores tomorrow to see who carries it.

6-in1's are excellent. Or try some whole tomatoes (canned--San Marzano's from Italy are the best, if you can find them) crushed by hand--this is what Uno's uses.
