Portuguese WFO
« on: May 27, 2013, 10:37:32 AM »
Hi all
Does anyone have any feed back on these portuguese ovens? The look pretty decent and the price is good too. The company is grills n ovens and they list quite a bit on ebay. From what i can see from their web site the oven core is a one piece clay which is then fully insulated and stucco'd. I have attached a pic any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Here are some pics of my first day making neapolitan pizzas in this portuguese oven. I was very impressed with the oven temps reaching 900 plus degrees. Pizzas were delicious!

Great looking pie, especially from an oven you are just getting used to!

Very reasonable price, 1800.00 delivered. Grills n ovens.com. The size is 32" and is very well insulated it weighs 1500 lbs and used a backhoe to lift it onto the base i built for it.

It looks great. The base and the entire patio are beautiful.  Nice job.  Hope you bake some really delicious pizzas in that oven.  Post up some photos of one of your pizzas.
