I have a feeling I'm going get alot of "why would you even think of cleaning a pizza stone?" answers, but I need to clean my stone. I had a pizza stick to my stone. Crust was moist and very thin and the toppings leaked through and burnt badly. Now the pizza I make on it take on a burnt flavor. Normally I only use hot water to clean, but that is not removing the burnt flavor. My stone is a Mullite mix from California Pizza Stones.
