Spot the Space Station
« on: June 07, 2013, 05:56:31 PM »
I thought this was pretty cool, though I have yet to actually spot the station. If you sign up you'll recieve email updates telling you when the ISS can be seen flying over your area.  The other site tracks the station in real time.

I love to see the space station. Had been tracking it with an iPad app. But signed up for the spot the station from NASA. It works perfect! You get the Email the day of and boy it's spot on. It will tell you the direction it will be coming from and going to. And the exact time.

Well tonight I finally received an email to spot the station just after 9pm. It came into view at the exact time it said it would. Like a very big/bright satellite, very cool when you really think about what you're looking at.

Thanks again
Josh

That sucker hauls a$$.

Not all that exciting, but here is a picture of it crossing the sky for 10 seconds or so.
