Oh, my that fettucine looks delicious.

Garlic scape pesto is wonderful on pizza and many other dishes.  At the the Texas Pizza Summit, Craig made a pizza topped with shaved scapes that was wonderful.  He simply took a vegetable peeler to them.  Have fun playing around with them--sadly they're only around for  a month or so.

Yes, scape season is over. :(  I must say all of that garlic hanging is a beautiful sight!  While I will enjoy the fresh tomatoes and sweet corn and the other bounties of summer and fall, I must say there's a part of me that can't wait for spring for the gloriously funky ramps and garlic scapes.

A sad day...the last of the homemade garlic scape pasta until next year.
Seared dry scallops over garlic scape pappardelle in a white wine, butter and lemon thyme sauce, sprinkled with parmigiano and romano.

Deb's pictures of all that hanging garlic look amazing, on to the next inspiration.
