What are you watching right now?
« on: June 14, 2013, 04:56:41 PM »
Thought we could use some recommendations from our members about movies/tv shows/sports.

I'm watching the US open right now. Any golf enthusiasts? Go Phil! 5 time runner-up, hopefully this time around he can finally get a W.

Kipnis is on my fantasy team, hopefully he does some damage. If you're a nats fan then hopefully they do just a little more damage than kipnis so you can get the win lol.

Bottom of the 8th, Kipnis is 2 for 3 with 2 singles, a walk, a strikeout, 1 RBI, 1 run.

Newish shows, House of Cards on Netflix and The Following.  We go old school almost every night and wind down with a couple of episodes of MASH. MASH has some of the best writing out there in the past 40 years. Some of the best lines went to Colonel Potter in the later years.  "Bull cookies, and "Horse hockie" would be two of my favorites of his catch phrases.  Tonight had me chuckling over a shower scene where Potter sings, "I love swimmin' with bowleggin' women and swim between their legs, and swim between their legs! " Of course Father Mulched walked in while Potter was singing.  Lol.

House of cards is excellent.  Check out Jericho too.
