round plastic containers
« on: June 18, 2013, 09:41:49 AM »

 I am looking for a few round food safe plastic containers to store my dough balls in the fridge, but looking for a low profile larger diameter type, something like 3 1/2 high max and approx 9 or 10 inches in dia. so I can stack them in my fridge, been searching with no luck so far.

   thanks

I use these;

http://www.glad.com/food-storage/containers/big-bowl/

They are about 3.5" tall and approx 8" in diameter.

Not quite as large as you're looking for, but the work great and are cheap.

I get them at Lowes foods in Wilmington NC.

I had been using those but picked up some new ones from Ziplock and they are nice because the bottom is flat, as opposed to the other where the bottom has a little raised area.

I use the Ziploc, as well. They're taller and not as large a diameter as the Gladware bowls.

I get Harris Teeter knockoffs like the Ziploc bowls for way less $$.
