Here's their frozen thin crust.  How different is HRI formulation than this you think?

Way different.
Do they have a Connie's "stuffed" pizza version?
This one looks kinda gross....and their marketing jargon/schpeal/copy needs proof reading.  :-\

Connie's has awesome cheese and a great sauce.  They have 5 types.  Thin, middleweight (pan/thick), deep dish, artisan and stuffed.  I swear their thick weighs 5 LBs.

I'm a Connie's Fan, there is a location close to me.  Their medium thickness crust is excellent, good sausage with extra fennel.  Have not tired their frozen stuff....

Yea their middleweight crust is all I've ever eaten.  Would love to clone that pie.

I haven't tried the frozen Connie's pizza but their pizzeria is good.  I used to get pizza from the Connie's in Naperville.  I think I usually ordered the Old Style beer thin crust pizza in 2009 - 2010.

Nice I grew up in Crest Hill but when I was a teenager we moved to Lisle.  I Checked Connie's website and couldn't find the option for the Old Style beer pizza but when I google "Connie's Old Style beer pizza" it comes up as an old part of the Connie's webpage.  Now that I saw there webpage I remembered they sold the Old Style pizza for $10.99.  I remember that the quality of the crust, sauce, and the cheese were really good.  For $10.99 thats a steal!

I still know people from there.  Did you go to Jr high there (Chaney Monge/Richland)? or go to Lockport high school?

So I finally got around to trying my first thin crust from Connie's.  Man do they put alot of seasoning on that cheese.  But i finally found another place who's bottom of the pizza tastes like a real fine sandpaper.  Like real fine sand in your teeth.   Not sure what it is but i love it.   But their pan style is way better.

I know this is a little late but. . .  A good pizza place I know of in Lemont IL is Turnabout Pizza.  Its an old small cinder block building on the edge of town.  The ovens are very old deck ovens you can see when you walk in.  As for the pizza, I remember a good crust, great cheese, and the sauce was fantastic.  The sauce is what really tied the pizza together, it was sweet but didn't take away from the pizza no matter what toppings were on there.
