My pan pizza
« on: February 07, 2006, 09:27:05 PM »
I'm totally new to pan pizza.  It's definitely not "Chicago Style" as I don't cook as low-and-long or with sauce on top or raw sausage.  I usually do mine American style right on the stone or more recently on the screen on the stone.  Occassionally I like to try different pie styles so I decided to try my own version in a cast iron pan and it turned out great.

Here's a couple pics of one of my first tries:

Did you preheat the pan first, or lay it in the pan and put it in the oven?

very nice pan there ! - looks just like one my mom has ! what a great idea.

I love the outer edges of the dough, looks very yummy indeed !

I'd peel a bit off and dip it in Caesar salad dressing - yummy !

great job !  ;D

That's good eats... it's good with bleu cheese dressing too.

Looks good,
what dough recipe did you use?
How much oil if any did you use in the pan?
