My name is Don, and I live in MA. I live just North of Boston.
I am very impressed with the Pizza Making forum. I stumbled across it while reading the Serious Eats slice posts on the KettlePizza Grill. I have been reading posts religiously for about two weeks now, learning a fair amount about pizza. While I have always been of the camp that I know good pizza when I see/eat it, I feel like these discussions have started to elevate what make up the hallmarks of a great pie.
My dream has always been to build a WFO in our yard, but I have procrastinated around taking the Kiko Denzer approach to the whole thing (yet it has always seemed like a lot of work). In finding the forums, it has rekindled my dreams of a more serious pizza setup for the backyard. Most of my cooking of pizza's to date has been on the grill, which is fun but not necessarily authentic.
Thanks for allowing me to join the fold.
