Deleting my own post
« on: July 01, 2013, 05:45:55 PM »
I made the mistake of posting a reply to myself when I thought I was modifying a post, and I can't figure out how to delete it.
The forum instructions tell me to look for " remove" but I sure can't find it.
I did the best I could and just modified the post to a single dot,and I guess Peter will eventually clean that up.
I've looked for "remove" but can't seem to find that option.
Am I missing something  ?

Perry,

I am not sure what happened. Under section 2(c) of the forum's Terms & Conditions at http://www.pizzamaking.com/forum/index.php/topic,25485.msg256822.html#msg256822, a member is given 24 hours to remove a post. Steve looks at posts on the Forum Info board so he may be able to tell us what happened. In the meantime, I will delete the post you mentioned.

Did you try deleting it within 24 hours of posting it?

I just tried to delete my last post, and although I can modify, I do not see any way to delete it.

Steve,

What Perry says is correct. When I deleted the post for him, he was early into the 24-hour window.

That's correct; only the moderators can delete a post. You can delete all of the content, but it will still show as a post of yours.

Cait,

Is that the post on the wooden peel? If so, I will delete it for you.
