I am new to forums. We started a pizza website because we love pizza. We make it all the time. We have refined our old recipes and continue to try new ones. We greatly appreciated your suggestions to our website. Over the last couple days I have reviewed many of the posts on this site going way back. I only added the Emile Henry URL because I saw what Mighty Pizza Oven did. So I thought it was okay. We love pizza. And from what I have read here, so do many of the members to this forum. I find it interesting how the members of this forum have such different opinions about pizza, pizza recipes, pizza stones (either useless junk or great), pizza peels (wood or metal) and just about everything pizza. I find that it really does not matter. It is fun making pizza with our kids. We sometimes make the dough by hand or blender or breadmaker. We have a garden and when making sauce we sometimes use our homegrown tomatoes, which just seem to have more flavor. As for the website design and language, we had someone do that who claimed to know what he was doing. Perhaps not. I don't know. We have posted the blogs ourselves though and created a dough video where our kids are following an early dough recipe. We don't make much money from the site. We have read that we should participate in forums like this one to "drive traffic". I am surprised by the pleasant experience and interesting posts associated with this forum. I am also surprised how negative some can be (that Pizza Hut tooth story exchange comes to mind). We are learning the ways of how to contribute to this forum. But I do take issue that my Emile Henry post was spam or an advertisement. If you go there you find more information and a video to watch and yes a opportunity to purchase (similar to what you find when you look at Mighty Pizza Oven in the glazed pizza stone area). We want to follow the rules. But more important share in the love of making pizza. It is just simple fun.
