Have you ever posted a list of items only to have a smiley face pop up out of nowhere?
That's because certain key strokes invoke smiley faces (i.e., the key sequence 8 ) displays the smiley wearing sunglasses.) [note that I had to place a space between the "8" and ")" so that the smiley would not be inserted for this example] This can be a nusance when using a list of items:
6) blah
7) blah
blah
9) blah
To disable smilies in your post, just click the "Don't use smileys" check-box before you post.
