While I know absolutely that I am a complete pizza snob, very few of those actually resonate with me.  I think it's aimed more at the Slice crowd, or at least some Slice contributors.  I will say that the pizza pictured with the article looks delicious, I'd definitely hit that.

I got a few chuckles from it, I was hoping others would, too. :)

Funny, thanks for sharing. Being lampooned is an achievement for sure, even if all 17 don't fit me either. My 2stone grill is more like an AMC gremlin, but I love it...

Yeah, I am in no respect a pizza snob, but I am a hell of a pizza nerd.

19.  You stop in every grocery store you see and head directly to the canned tomato isle to see what they have.

20. Ditto the flour isle.

Yes, I have done that--I sent some Adirondack to TXCraig for him to try.

19.  Exchanged canned tomatoes through the mail and compulsively buy new brands to test taste whenever the opportunity arises.

20.  Sent Aleppo chile across the country to complete strangers, in the name of pizza.

21.  Swapped sourdough starter cultures with others.

Looks like we're in agreement on some of these!  I go to Amish markets just to see what flours they have on hand!  And I'm dangerous in our Italian markets.

22.  You get really excited when you see a brand of bufala mozzarella you haven't tried yet.

23.  You do dough and pizza experiments at odd hours of the day and night.

24.  You've been known to eat pizza 3-4 times a week.

Yes!  I would add that most nights if not everynight since I've been a member, I have gone to sleep and awakened to PM.com.  I am sure a whole lot of you can relate!  :-D

Unread posts, schmunread posts  ;D I'm 'recent posts' all the way.  It's the quickest way to scan through everything.

27. You think nothing of driving a 400+ mile round trip for a special cheese you just can't be without. And you take a 2 hour detour to bring flour to a friend. 8)

28. Whine that you live in a "cheese desert" because you can't find buffalo mozzarella locally.
