I would bet if you stood a fan in front of it and came back in an hour it would be cool enough to touch and disassemble. I'm doing a couple pies Tuesday nite after my 6 day run of 12 hour nites (time for beer and pie) and I'll try to remember to do this. I have a room fan on a stand I use to keep skeeters away from us when sitting at the patio table in the evenings so I'll let you know if nobody else tries it first.

Jon,

When I was baking in my BS and it was raining at Reply 28 http://www.pizzamaking.com/forum/index.php/topic,26483.msg269028.html#msg269028 it didn't take long for the BS to cool down.  I was worried that the bottom stone might break because it was raining so hard and my BS isn't under cover.  Luckily the bottom stone didn't break from the rain, but I was sweating about that.  :-D I kept feeling the top of the BS and in hr. I could put my grill cover on, but then the rain might have cooled my BS down faster.

I would think the blackstone is the perfect tailgator pizza oven.

Something to mount it like one of my bbq buddies did would be pretty cool.

Wow, that is freaking awesome.

I am also contemplating ease of transport for parties and such, and I don't even have one, yet ..
