« on: August 06, 2013, 05:11:00 PM »
My first WFO..  cant wait to get started.

How do you cure an oven if your not home durning the day? Recommended time is 10 hours a day.   Any suggestions.?   Also, what if you cure for two or three days then you cant fininh until 4 days later, is this an issue?

I'm no expert, but I'm curing my oven as I type.  I have two halogen work lights sitting inside on cookie sheets.  After 24 hours, my oven dome temp is 350 degrees and the core temp is 265!!!  Reminds me of my sister's Easy Bake Oven...

I think the directions to my oven say to cure either with progressively larger fires over three days, or use a heat lamp/blower for a week.

The forno bravo andiamo. The 24 inch.   I wanted the larger 28, like you have, but I do not have the space for it.
