Moving a 900 pound 60 quart mixer

Anyone here ever done it?  Any suggestions on how to move that thing?

I would call a couple moving companies.  Get quotes and find out exactly how they were going to move it.  If it were affordable I would have them move it then if something happened to it during the moving process it should be insured (check out w/ them how damaged items are handled).  If not affordable then you have an idea of how the professionals would move it.

Thanks Pete... the big problem I have is that it's 100 miles away.  I moved a 20 quart with a two-wheel dolly and KNOW that a 60 quart ain't gonna be easy.  A lift-gate truck and a pallet jack should be all I'd need.  All I need now is -- a lift gate truck and a pallet jack .

U-Haul should be able to take care of that.

How do you move a 900 lb. mixer?  Very carefully.   

Why do you need to move it?  If you're really serious about pizza-making, why not consider leaving the mixer where it is and building a new house around it?

I do a lot of heavy lifting rebuilding my antique tractor and making barbecue grills and smokers.  I use an automotive motor lift that runs about $2oo at places like Sam's.  They are manual and slow but if the legs will go around the mixer it should work if you are on a concrete floor that doesn't change elevation.
