Hello, I'm new here. I live about 90 miles east of the best pizza I've ever had, Lou Malnati's in Chicago, maybe some of you have heard of the place.
A local pizza closer to home was previously my favorite, Bruno's of South Bend, IN, made by an Italian family whose slogan has been "We make the best pizza because we do" and the other classic "We do what you can't do". My mom used to make homemade pizza and malts every Friday night. Everyone loved her pizza! I am hoping to start working on perfecting my own homemade pizza. Now that my children are out of the house, I seem to have time to start to tweak my recipes and am glad I have found this forum to help me in my quest. I am a nanny by profession, although the children are all in school now, so I am quite a bit like Alice from the Brady Bunch (the tv show, not the movies). At my own home, I have been married for 23 yrs, have two boys ages 21 and 19, no pets. I enjoy working in the yard and making messes in the kitchen.
My name is Linda and I love pizza!
