the price is $25 for 6 number 10 cans  for La carmela and $23.5 for vitelli.

wow! you have a nice selection there! I think the can on top of the others is your favorite.
How many pizzas are you making with 6 cans?

Hi Bert, thanks, I used those too since costco does not carry number 10 cans any more. I prefer big cans so I do not have to open a lot of them, that is one of the reasons I looking into buy big cans.

I've used the Francesconi  in the past, and they were wonderful.

I just found them on line here  https://www.teitelbros.com/store/shopthanks.asp

1.69 for a 35 oz can seems more than reasonable .
Larger cans , 6 lb. 9 oz.  asre 3.99

Vitelli is very good.  I recently tried them after seeing them towards the top in two different taste tests.

That's a good friend to have.
I ordered 12 of the 35 oz cans , a pound of Grana Pandano, a box of sea salt , and the shipping was only 14.00 , and the service was prompt.
Even at 1.00 per can shipping, it was still a great deal, and the Fancesconi were as good as I remember.

A friend just sent me this mozz , so I better get cooking.

Nico,
Piola in midtown has a great sauce and they use the Luigi Vitelli Italian peeled tomatoes.

I would like to pick some of these up, which whole seller did you find that carried these?

Hi MartyE, this place had the tomatoes almost one year ago Selected Food and Beverage (http://www.selectedfoods.com/)  i do not use it anymore since I can get everything but 00 at Restaurant depot...they are a cash and carry, they normally do not have change so bring small bills...
