In memory--Amy Klein, RIP
« on: September 28, 2013, 12:01:16 AM »
Some of you know that I belong to a blog called 37 Cooks.  Wednesday, we lost one of our very dear cooks, Amy Klein, to cancer; she was only 46.  It was quite sudden, I believe she was diagnosed only a few months ago.  Just know she was funny, compassionate and caring even when she had to take care of family members who were suffering from very trying concerns.  She also took the time out to hand out sage advice regarding my teenage son, despite all of what she had to handle. I turned 46 today, and I find myself reeling, thinking about her teenage son.
On top of all of that, she was an excellent cook and loved milk shakes.  So, have a milk shake for Amy and also make her work of art carrot cake that Donna Currie, aka dbcurrie on SE, shared on Cookistry in tribute to Amy.

To you, Amy.  May you look over us and laugh as we remember all of your best moments.

Grieve for your loss, not for her gain, hopefully we all get there sooner or later. Her pain is over and her good times are just starting!\
