The other brand, what ever it is, costed more and tastes a lot worse.
Cento all purpose crushed is so thick, it's hard to believe there isn't added paste in it.

Anyways, I like my sauce thick it's a keeper.

Yeah it is thick, I wrote about it in one post. I find it almost too thick to spread evenly on a pizza.

Side note, how can I obtain the cheapest vendor of Escalon 6 in 1 and stanislaus 7/11 tomatoes?

I purchase my 7/11 tomatoes from my local restaurant supply. I am set up as a cash customer and they are more than happy to sell to me.  They only sell them by the case and in #10 cans but I use them for pasta sauces as well as pizza "love the 7/11's".  If you are able to create a relationship with a supplier like mine, it is very handy because I buy my flour, mozzarella and toppings from them also.

This video really demonstrates an interesting factor of a thinner sauce. It spreads very evenly, I notice when I use a thicker sauce I get more streaks instead of an even application. Here's a pie I did recently, you can see the streaks in mine vs the more even balanced spread in her sauce.
