sauce that is a bit sweet???

Hello...
I am looking for a sauce that is a tad bit on the sweet side.  There is a wonderful Pizza Place in Orlando  (Papa Joe's)  which has a slightly sweet sauce on their pizza. I have tried to recreate this...to no avail.  Can Someone, please, send me some ideas...MANY THANKS!!!

Momma check under recipes and Tech. on the forum look for the recipe posted by DKM I find it a little to sweet for me so I add more salt and less sugar but this may be what your looking for.

When I make pizza for myself (and not for customers), I usually add a little diced onion and some sugar to the sauce layer.  The onion and the sugar add a really nice amount of sweetness to the pizza.

I have started adding a teaspoon of sugar to my sauce recipe and really like the smoother taste.
