If you read my original post about the Uuni portable oven, you'll note that I didn't have quite enough browning on bottom of the crust as I wanted. I decided to try and put a pizza stone in the bottom of the oven to see if that would help.
Last week I found a stone that was a bit too large, and took it to a place that cuts granite countertops. Everything was fine until I dropped and broke the stone in three places before I could even install it. I suppose I could have used the stone anyway, but I put everything aside out of frustration. At this point, I've decided not to fiddle with the oven anymore and it's currently listed for sale on ebay.
All in all, the Uuni will get the job done if you're willing to live with the limitations I noted in my original post. I'm currently looking at a Blackstone oven.
