That is the description of Chicago deep dish (and lasagna for that matter) that I've been looking for my whole life.  :-D  Classic.

Good stuff. I wish chicago was better known for south side thin crust...and less murder. The hot dogs though are no contest.  >:D

Hilarious.  Deep dish pizza is disgusting.  It may be the worst possible way to combine dough, mozzarella, and tomatoes.  And he's right, its not pizza.  I'd wager that a calzone is closer to pizza than deep dish pizza is.
