Mmmph,
Even though the stone is 16 1/2", I don't think I could launch a 16" pie centered well enough.  Maybe a 15".  The largest I have actually done is a 14".    Most of mine are about 11-12"

I have cheated and put a 16" pizza on a screen in my BS.  I give it 2-3 min. and then pull the screen out.

I have cut a 16 inch pizza and it many times what I do is heat the oven to about 800 before I put the pizza and then I turn the fine down just a little bit so the outside edges doesn't burn it turns out great. It generally takes about two minutes and 45 seconds to cook this way with a thin crust dough out 3 1/2 minutes with a thick crust :chef:

I do 15s, shut off the turntable, launch pie and turn back on.  So far, no issues in that area.  Still dialing things in with flame intensity and temps.  With some practice, 16s wouldn't be a problem.

15 inch works for me.  Any bigger and it would be too stressful.
