Same maker isn't it?  But yeah I was confused.

Too damn hot.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the FDA makes food manufacturers specify corn syrup vs sugar on labeling. This wasn't always the case.

I don't know if they have to specify anything on the front of the packet, just the nutritional data on the back.

I'm sure when you see USDA Organic etc or "No HFCS" that's the manufactures choice.

I can shout as loud as I want about one ingredient I want to make a point of on the front of a packet, but then list the 1000 other ingredients on the back.

True enough.  Any chance you got a shot of the nutritional info on the back of a Pepsi Throwback that says HFCS?

I was at my supplier today & noticed that they had both 305ml & 355ml glass bottles of original Coca Cola , Diet Coke,  Coke Zero, & Sprite from the US.  They also carry 355ml Brio in glass bottles.  The 355ml were $5.99 for 6 & the 305ml were $4.25 for 6.

As I finish typing this, I'm just about to put on my shoes, head out to the supermarket and get some throwback mountain dew.  The caffeine wreaks havoc on my sleep cycle (I'm very sensitive), but the taste... oh the taste.  It's probably just as good that I can't get throwback mountain dew all year round or I'd drink it all the time.

High fructose corn syrup is a scourge on the people of the world. A lot of Hispanic restaurants and markets were selling BOTTLES of coke, made with sugar, for a while. Don't know what happened though. Maybe they found out it is cheaper here than importing from Mexico. Anyway, GREAT discovery! I will be checking this out.

Just stumbled on this thread. I live in Mexico. I'll check this out, but I think since the post is old, it may not be the same.
