I just read this article, and although I have not been back to my favorite site in the whole world for some time now, I knew I had to post this. I did not have the time to check to see if it was already posted. If it was then I am sorry.
Hello to all you old pizza loving fools.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - A pizzeria in Pittsburgh is vying
for a Guinness world record for the world's largest
commercially available pizza.
That wouldn't be good news for Paul Revere's Pizza in
Mount Pleasant, which holds the record with a
four-foot diameter pizza. Dubbed the Ultimate Party
Pizza, Paul Revere's uses more than ten pounds of
dough, 48 ounces of sauce and about five pounds of
cheese.
The Pittsburgh restaurant, Mama Lena's Pizza House,
has unveiled pizza with a four-and-a-half-foot
diameter. It's called the Big One, and it offers 150
slices for 99 dollars. The business says it takes
about 20 pounds of dough and one gallon of sauce to
bake the Big One, which takes up most of the space in
the shop's brick oven.
Guinness requires that the pizza's making be
videotaped and witnessed by a public official. Mama
Lena's plans to attempt the record this week.
