I haven't been on in awhile for new pizza reasons and found this AMAZING thread. I'm loving the trip ups and wanted to add a couple of my own; I want to wear them like badges!

First is an attempt to use my stove top cast iron griddle as a pizza stone when I had forgotten to retrieve my pizza steel from a friend's apartment.  If you're not familiar with the griddle, it's basically a long rectangle slab of cast iron that sits over two gas burners.  Seemed like a good alternative to the steel and it probably would've been fine if I wasn't in a rush and so used to stretching big circles.

ah found the one I was looking for, my first real pie baked in a WFO!  I had been practicing stretching and fired some blanks before this beauty.  Appreciate the subtle flip of the crust lip as I improperly released the pie into the oven; you can almost feel the lightness of the Neapolitan style through the picture.  ;)

I'll never forget my first.

Ha! I have the very same "new and improved" container Mary Ann.
If you go to place it in a low cupboard and hold it by the top lip rather than the handle you are destined for the Thread of Shame thread. It was jus a matter of time me lady!  :-D

I was thinking to myself as I was walking upstairs from the basement while balancing the flour on top of two dough trays, "this flour is gonna fall all over the floor".   :-D

It has been a rough couple of weeks and it just made me laugh.

Here's my spontaneous calzone.   It began life as a mis-fired launch into the Blackstone, managed to flip the hanging portion back onto itself and completed the bake.  It was actually really tasty.

I'm glad to read that everyone else is calling you out Dylan - makes my job easier :chef:

Most of us would have just eaten that bake.  I wouldn't have even thought about a shame post :-D

Oh man... this past year, we had WAAAYYY too many pizzas that looked like the ones here, due to our first time making pizzas in oven, as well as WFO.  Can't say I took any pictures, but all these pics bring back memories.  ;)

New season is about to begin, so I'll be keeping in mind to take some fail pics for our entertainment.

Not sure what you did wrong but I've used my formula successfully many times and have never had a problem.
