This is a fun site. Nothing new here from me, but it let's you put a narrative to your photography. They featured my post on the front page yesterday.

I wish I had 10% of your artistic gifts.
I love pigs. They convert vegetables into bacon.

You are all too kind. Really, a nice lens does all the work. I just push the button.

Craig - you should do one on the creation of the garage, and your seminal workflow which has changed the course of NP pizza on this board and beyond.

John,

I really like the descriptions of your "thoughts behind the pics". To me its akin to listening to Dave Grohl talk about writing "Everlong", or how Michael Angelakos came up with "Take a Walk".

Really gets the imagination going.

Very inspiring.

John can you go into a little bit about your camera, lense choice, exposures (f stop/shutter speed/ ISO) as well as your thought process

I am not really a photographer, I just like taking photos. I always let the camera choose ISO/shutter/stop. I have a Nikon D7000 with the kit zoom lens, and a 105mm f/2.0D AF. When I use the kit lens I mostly zoom all the way in and stand back as far as I can to get a blurred background. The 105 is an incredible lens that just makes everything dreamy but you need a lot of room to shoot. I like low angles and natural light - I never use the flash - so taking pics at night is a problem. I am looking at getting a 50mm 1.4 or an 85 1.4 to help with that.
