Bob whats a fair price to paint a large REO E-22 cab and Body
yes the next flirting with fire mobile
Boy, that is nice. Might even be quite rare John. We know it's old but I did an image search on this truck and you just don't see any of these that were built with the enclosed box. At any rate, the old REO trucks are real popular and sure do draw a crowd. If you put a lift gate on that beauty instead of a ramp for getting your equipment in and out that would be jus sick man.
I can get you close on cost, lets assume this is "ready for paint" all prep/bodywork done(they never are though$) and for a job of refinishing the exterior only of the cab and body. A vehicle that size is going to eat up about $1,500 of paint. That's for the good stuff, which you want since this will be out in the sun a lot. I would do that truck in 2 stages, the box separately and then the cab. Looks like 2 days to me so that's another $1,500. That would be for a pro job, paint where it's supposed to be and not where it's not supposed to be.
If this were to be a "Flirting with Fire" company truck, knowing you, some graphics/artwork is gong to be involved so you probably should also look into getting this beast a "wrap". Will cost a bit more but not near what the price would be if you tried doing all the fancy stuff with paint...more durable too.
Hope this helps.
