Bob Goes fAzZaRi !
« on: December 28, 2013, 01:02:04 PM »
Tried my hand at doing a "pie cut" type pizza for first time on new BS oven. Did a same day John "Fazzari" poolish dough and was pretty pleased how this first attempt turned out. There will be more, his dough is great!  :chef:
Here's some pics....

That's looks really great.  Not only the crust, but the bits of char on the sausage and pepperoni.  That's why I never want the meat under the cheese.

Nice looking pie CB.

Do you guys that slap your slices upside-down on the counter for the undercarriage shot eat the now-splatted-slices after?

Thanks TX!
Yeah, I pretty much eat it anyway I can get it. I do draw the line on a 3 second rule slice/pie if dropped on the floor....well, if it happens in the garage anyway.  :chef:

Bob,

Great looking Fazzari style pizza baked in your BS.  Makes you never want to stop using the BS right.   :-D

Holy Mackerel that pie looks great. Now I've got to go look at the patio and visualize a Blackstone out there.

Here's another same day poolish dough pizza....this time a Mr. Jerry Mac. He makes good dough too!  :chef:
I gotta get me some whole milk motz....I finally folded like a cheap suitcase and ordered from my friendly waaaay over priced Penn Mac arch enemies.  >:(     We'll see what I can do with that stuff on the 'ol Blackstone Boys cracked stone special!

A 4 day old John FaZzArI dough is on deck for tomorrow night....hope it's killah.  :chef:
