Has anyone heard of Oreganata bread?

I am fortunate to live near a speciality italian bakery (called Marchiano's which I found a post about on this board).   They make a bread called Oreganata.  It is a round thin bread that is rolled like a jelly roll.  Inside is Pepperoni, some flavored oil and spices.  Apparently they have other types aside from the mild or hot pepperoni but I've never seen the other kinds there.

I did a search online and could not find it anywhere, I'm sure it's a very old recipe however there was nothing to be found.  Has anyone who's been to Calabria or other parts of southern Italy ever seen this before?  I've attached a picture below.

Would love to find out how to make it at home.

Around here, (Syracuse, NY) it's commonly known as pizza bread, pepperoni rolls or sausage bread--that's in the homemade Italian family kitchens.  Commercially it would be similar to Stromboli.  Sauce and cheese are optional, but used very sparingly if used at all in the filling.
