Looking for a Las Vegas recommendation

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could give me a recommendation for a great NY style pizza restaurant in Las Vegas.

Norcosia:

The name I see most frequently with regard to Las Vegas is Metro Pizza.  I would say their style of pizza looks most like a New York style, but is sort of a hybrid between New York and American, leaning towards a slightly thicker crust.  Reviews I have seen are typically in the plus column, but mixed.  Folks seem to really think it is the bomb, or it is a bomb (literally).  Take your pick.  I, personally, have not tried their pizza, but you can find photos on the internet from places like Google Images.

Unfortunately Las Vegas is not known for good New York style pizza (they think Sbarro is good)   That being said I had some good slices at New York Pizza (NYNY Casino) and at “Secret Pizza” (Cosmo).  I also like the Pizza at Grimaldi's (Fashion Show Mall) and at Metro (Ellis Island).  If you find yourself downtown/Fremont St, you should try Pizza Rock.  They have 4 unique ovens (gas/electric/wood) and make multiple types.  I thought that the wood fire Neo I had last time was quite good.  I want to try one of  the NewYork/New Haven types next trip.

Otherwise you will see a lot of California and flat bread types near the strip.

Thanks guys, I appreciate you all taking the time to help. Once I decide which location will work best (and go) I'll provide a full report back  :pizza:

+1 on the Grimaldi's in the Venetian (I guess that's the Fashion Show mall?).  They also have some other locations that are off the strip.  FWIW, I thought that the pizza was identical to the ones made in their NJ location.

Secret Pizza in the Cosmopolitan was good as well, but I have to give the nod to Grimaldi's.
Things have never been more like today than they are right now.
